Today we continued the SE Asia project presentations. We will finish the presentations tomorrow. Also, students received their Asia maps today because on Tuesday, there will be a map quiz so they need to start studying the countries labeled on their map.

Since we did not have school yesterday, we began the SE Asia project presentations today during class. We will continue the presentations tomorrow and possibly Friday if needed.

Students continued researching today and tomorrow will be the last day in class we will spend researching. I will be out on Friday due to UIL and I will also be gone Monday afternoon and we will begin presenting projects on Tuesday, January 28.

Today the students continued researching for their SE Asia country project. We will spend 2 more days researching this week and the final projects are due on Tuesday, January 28.

During class today the students continued researching information for their SE Asia country project. Today was the 3rd day the students had to work and we will spend 3 more days next week finishing their research. In class on Friday we will be watching a video over Angkor Wat in Cambodia and getting notes from the textbook.

Today in class the students took a open note quiz over their SE Asia notes from Friday. We also discussed the project that we will be starting tomorrow. Students were put into partners today and they also selected their countries they will be researching. We will begin researching in the computer lab.

-Fun things to do/Tourist attractions (Theme park, Ancient ruins, Zip Lining) 5 Points

-Local music (Playing a sample would be nice...no more than 30 seconds) 5 Points

Today the students discussed the differences between renewable and nonrenewable resources. We also began talking about the countries that make up southeast Asia. I will be out tomorrow so we will continue learning about the countries on Thursday.
