February 27

We continued labeling the Middle East map today and coloring in each country. Tomorrow we will begin our next project, which will be an individual project and each student will have a different country to research. We will go over the directions tomorrow.

February 24

We finished presenting the religion projects today and some students did very well on them. Our next unit will be over the Middle East and North Africa and we will begin that unit on Thursday, after benchmark testing. 

February 17

Today was the last day the students had to research for their religion projects. Tomorrow we will be continuing the DARE program and on Wednesday we will be beginning presentations.

February 12

The past few weeks the students have been working on their religion projects. Each student had a choice of working with someone or by themselves, and then they were assigned a religion to research. We have spent 3 days in the computer lab researching and we will go one more day and the projects will be due on Wednesday, February 19. Below is the rubric for the project.
